Most concerned with Justice seem to be on pirate ships though. Pirates are the opposite of Justice.

Okay.

...There will be no need to kill anyone, right? Just capture?

Well actually USUALLY those concerned with justice gravitate towards the marines. Like Smoker and Garp. But the sub I'm on has a tendency to pick up like-minded people and in this case we now have... quite a few members obsessed with justice. But the SDC isn't as much of a pirate crew as some would have you believe. They don't raid trading vessels, they don't kidnap and ransom anyone, they don't line people up agains the wall and shoot them. I loathe pirates; I will never be a pirate.

Correct. Capture only and then we turn them over to Smoker and Garp who are also obsessed with justice.

It's good to hear that the people here on the SDC aren't really pirates. Pirates are an evil that currently plague parts of my world.

Who are Smoker and Garp? I don't think I've talked to them yet. And what exactly are "Marines"? A group of people who honor Justice?

Yeah. Jyabura used to work for the government but politics got involved and they kicked him out but he's not really a pirate per se. Just ex-agent looking out for his crew mates. And on that note, most of the crew is kids. Ipin, Gon, Killua, Toboe, Lambo. Hell I count Rosette as an adult but she's only 16.

[livejournal.com profile] justicereigns and [livejournal.com profile] marinegrandpa respectively. The marines are obsessed with justice, yes. Or at least, they're supposed to be. A lot of them are... let's just say in my world I've known a lot of marines and they're not always what they say they are. Smoker and Garp ARE about protecting justice though. And not the black and white kind. Smoker respects and understands that there really are grey areas.
