...I'm doing okay enough. I mean, I'm on a farm and it's hot. Nothing we haven't dealt with before, but uncomfortable.

We're gonna need to get together when this is all over and have coffee, or do something to just relax.

Helping Luke with a little project is what. He thought it wise that we plant some crops so we can sustain ourselves in the future--too bad we didn't think of this months ago, right?

We'll have all of the time to relax that you want when this clears up. I'm personally thinking that we should have another Casablanca night.

They're not even alien crops, babe. Beans, cucubers, pumpkins. Earthly things.

He also requested a bantha recently. You remember from the movies, and the beasts that the Sand People rode on? One of those. He's a friendly guy too, named Hamal.

...and we can totally watch Chicago. I'm working on an outdoor projection rig for films--well, I was--and Luke is working on a similar project. I have the screen, and he's thinking that we can use Artoo to show the film.

It'll be fun, and I think Luke would agree that its a pretty harmless use for Artoo.

[That earned a quick laugh.] They're a fast growing crop, which is why we picked them. We should definitely have some by Halloween, and we can make the best Jack-o-Lanterns that Luceti has ever seen!

...I'll be here for a bit watching out for things with Luke and the others. Hamal-chan's species is actually used for food on his homeworld, so we're keeping an eye on him and the few crops that we do have growing for any looters. We don't want it t be messed up this early in the game.

And yes, that Artoo. We can totally get other people to watch--Luke is actually planning a little something when we have the time, just for that reason.

Huh. We can definitely try to talk Haruhi-chan into it. She likes community projects anyway, right? It's just too bad that we can't find anything right now to help the current debacle--something that would have spared your apartment and would help us not worry about our farm. Seems like these new kids aren't as well adjusted as we are though...

Luke was actually thinking of showing Superman sometime soon, and I've been collecting a bunch of Bond films and old comedies. How does Some Like it Hot with Marilyn Monroe sound sometime?
